“One Step At a Time” Running Group: Three days a week (times and days TBA). Will meet at CFH. Open to Center guests and anyone else who is interested in learning to run. All runners will receive the necessary running gear (i.e. running shoes, shorts, warm-ups, shirts, hats, etc.).
The Underground Railroad: All CFH guests, volunteers, and staff are invited to be in a play about the Underground Railroad.
We have many parts and need lots of people! We still need more adults.
Practices are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Community Room from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
We will perform the play in mid-February.
Come have fun and learn about an inspirational part of American history.

VA Hospital Van: To schedule a ride to the VA Hospital in Ft. Wayne, St. Joseph County veterans can call Doug Davis (USMC, retired) at (574) 243-VETS (8387).
The van service also provides connecting rides to the VA hospitals in Marion and Indianapolis.
ABE
▪Masterpiece Class: Masterpiece Class begins tonight, 6-7:30 p.m, in the SOSH classroom. You need to sign up for this class and attendance will be taken. Those who are absent too many times will be dropped from the class.
▪Dead Poets Society: Thursdays, 3-4 p.m., ABE Room. All are welcome.
We will discuss short stories and poems .
▪Writing: Wednesdays, 3-4 p.m., ABE. Improve your basic writing skills under the guidance of a trained instructor.
▪Creative Writing: Thursdays, 8-9 p.m. Develop your creative writing skills. You don’t have to sign up, just show up. Volunteers from Notre Dame will be there.
All of the above activities count toward ABE hours.

Correction: John Edwards received 18%, not 27% of the vote in the South Carolina Democratic Primary as stated in yesterday’s Herald.

Kessler Player of Week: Alison Kessler was named the MIAA Player of the Week after helping Saint Mary’s to a pair of league wins over Kalamazoo and Tri-State. It is the sixth time in her career and third time this season she has received the league’s weekly honor. Kessler (LaPorte, Ind./New Prairie HS) averaged 28.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists and steals per contests. In addition she connected on 16 of her 38 field goal attempts and was 19-for-26 from the free throw line while playing 77 of a possible 80 minutes.
