At March 3 Monday night meeting. Please see Tammy to OK poems. No foul or suggestive language.
Car Registration: CFH Guests: If you own a motor vehicle, you need to register it with your coach or it could be towed.
“One Step At a Time” Running Group: Three days a week (times and days TBA). Will meet at CFH. Open to Center guests and anyone else who is interested in learning to run. All runners will receive the necessary running gear (i.e. running shoes, shorts, warm-ups, shirts, hats, etc.). There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the basement stairway near the men’s lounge.
Artistic Newsletter: Are you an artist, poet or writer? Place submissions for the new Artistic Newsletter in Emily Pickerill’s box. Express your talents and ideas by participating. Start submitting as soon as possible.

An ABE discussion group Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m.
Anyone interested in talking about issues of working, buying, and how you relate to broader society? Sign up in ABE.
Starts February 20.
▪Dead Poets Society: Thursdays, 3-4 p.m., ABE Room. All are welcome.
We will discuss short stories and poems.
▪Poetry Jam: Tuesday, 7-8 p.m. Share your own work; read a favorite poem; or listen, relax, and enjoy.
▪Writing: Wednesdays, 3-4 p.m., ABE. Improve your basic writing skills under the guidance of a trained instructor.
▪Creative Writing: Thursdays, 8-9 p.m. Develop your creative writing skills. You don’t have to sign up, just show up. Volunteers from Notre Dame will be there.
▪Fractions and Decimals Refresher Courses: Tuesdays, fractions, and Thursdays, decimals, in the second floor conference room. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact ABE.

(21) Notre Dame Men 94, Syracuse 87:
Kyle McAlarney hit 9-of-11 3-pointers yesterday to break the school record for 3s in a game, finishing with 30 points to lead the Irish (21-5, 11-3 Big East) to their 36th straight victory at the Joyce Center.
It was the 17th straight Big East home victory for ND, the second longest such streak in league history.
Luke Harangody scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for ND.

(14) Notre Dame Women 66, DePaul 64: Erica Williamson tied a career-high with 16 points and added eight rebounds to help the Lady Irish (21-6, 9-4 Big East) win in Chicago Sunday.
Charel Allen had 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Irish who have won six of seven. Lindsay Schrader scored 11 while Ashley Barlow added 10.
DePaul was down 64-59 with 1:21 left before hitting a 3-pointer and a jumper that brought the Lady demons to 65-64 with 12.6 remaining. Allen made one of two free throws to seal the verdict.

Notre Dame Hockey 1, 2; Ohio St. 3, 2: The Irish Icers (21-11-4, 14-8-4 CCHA) were only able to gain one point a two-game weekend series with the Buckeyes.
ND lost 3-2 Friday night at the Joyce Center but came back Saturday for a 2-2 tie.
They did manage to clinch fourth place in the CCHA. That earned them a first round bye in the playoffs and home ice in the second round, the weekend of March 14-16.
Saint Mary’s 74, Olivet 56: The host Belles (12-12, 8-8 MIAA) clinched home-court advantage in this week’s MIAA Tournament first round this week with the win Saturday.
Senior Alison Kessler added to her SMC career scoring record with 29 points on 9-of-22 from the field and 3-of-6 from 3-point range.
Juniors Erin Newsom and Katie Rashid added 16 and 14 points, respectively. Newsom also grabbed 11 rebounds.
The same two schools face each other in MIAA Tournament action Tuesday at the Belles’ Angela Athletic Facility. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Spring Arbor 81, (8) Bethel Men 70: Tyler Brown scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the visiting Pilots (24-6, 12-4 MCC) Saturday.
The Pilots shaved an 18-point second-half deficit to three points but that was as close as they could get.
William Walker had a solid all-around game with 14 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and five blocked shots.
Bethel, the regular season MCC champion, hosts St. Francis, IN., Wednesday, in the first round of MCC Tournament play.
(5) Bethel Women 78, Spring Arbor 44: Natalie Young scored 23 points, grabbed three rebounds, and handed out three assists to lead the host Lady Pilots (26-3, 15-1 MCC) on Senior Day Saturday.
The Bethel women host Goshen College Tuesday night (tomorrow) at 7 p.m., in the first round of MCC Tournament action.
IUSB Men 91, Illinois Tech 76: Ben Werner contributed ;16 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists for the visiting Titans (14-12, 2-5 CCAC).
Werner was one of five IUSB players in double figures; the others were: Tyler Leighton, 17, Quinn Brooks 15, Qdar Owens 12, and Dylan Morris 12.
The two schools are scheduled for a 7 p.m. make-up game tonight at IUSB’s Student Activities Center. The game has been postponed several times because of weather.
IUSB Women 84, Judson 65: Niki McDonald scored 21 points to lead the visiting Lady Titans (18-10, 5-4 CCAC).
Jen VanderZanden had 19 points and nine rebounds. Cortney Flanigan dished out eight assists to go with her 11 points.
Senior Day will be tomorrow (February 26) as the Lady Titans host CCAC foe Robert Morris.

Tiger Passes Arnie: Tiger Woods beat Stewart Cink 8 and 7 in finals of the Accenture Match Play Championship Sunday to pass Arnold Palmer on the all-time PGA victory list with 64.
Auto Club 500 Continues: The Auto Club 500 will resume today at 1 p.m. with Jimmie Johnson leading on the 87th (out of 250) lap.
Johnson was followed by Travis Kvapil, Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle, Kasey Kahne, and Jeff Gordon.
