CFH St. Paddy’s Day Parade Float Sign-Up:
The sign-up sheet is on the exit door by the front desk.
The parade starts tomorrow (March 15) at 11 a.m. and goes down East Jefferson Street between Eddy Street and the East Race.
The CFH van leaves at 10 a.m. sharp.
All float participants will receive a “Dance for the Homeless Dance Marathon” t-shirt.
Car Registration: CFH Guests: If you own a motor vehicle, you need to register it with your coach or it could be towed.
“One Step At a Time” Running Group: Three days a week (times and days TBA). Will meet at CFH. Open to Center guests and anyone else who is interested in learning to run. All runners will receive the necessary running gear (i.e. running shoes, shorts, warm-ups, shirts, hats, etc.). There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the basement stairway near the men’s lounge.
Artistic Newsletter: Are you an artist, poet or writer? Place submissions for the new Artistic Newsletter in Emily Pickerill’s box. Express your talents and ideas by participating. Start submitting as soon as possible.
VA Hospital Van: To schedule a ride to the VA Hospital in Ft. Wayne, St. Joseph County veterans can call Doug Davis (USMC, retired) at (574) 243-VETS (8387) The van service also provides connecting rides to the VA hospitals in Marion and Indianapolis.
Homeless Veterans: If you are disabled and cannot work full-time (or are over 65), you may be entitled to a disability pension from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

(25) Marquette 89, (14) ND Men 79: Junior guard Jerel McNeal scored a career-high 28 points for Marquette in quarterfinal action at the Big East tournament in Madison Square Garden, New York.
Kyle McAlareny scored 20 points for the Irish (24-7) who now have to wait for the selection committee to find out their seeding in the NCAA tournament.
ND’s top scorer Luke Harangody only played seven minutes in the first half and finished with 13 points.
The Irish opened up a 44-34 lead early in the second half but Marquette went on a 13-2 run and took the lead for good with 11:52 to play.
The sixth-seeded Golden Eagles (24-8) will play seventh-seeded Pittsburgh in the semifinals on Friday night.

Harangody, Brey Get Big East Honors: For the first time in Notre Dame men’s basketball history a player and head coach have received the top Big East honors.
Luke Harangody was named Player of the Year and Mike Brey Coach of the Year in the Big East.
Harangody was just the second player in Big East history to lead the league in both scoring and rebounding in the same season as he averaged 23.3 points and 11.3 rebounds.
Despite a disappointing quarterfinal loss in the Big East tourney, Brey’s 14th-ranked Irish had one of their best seasons, finishing 24-6 overall in the regular season and 14-4 in conference regular season play. It marked the best record for an Irish team since joining the league in 1995-96 and the most conference wins in school history.
Brey has five 20-win seasons in his eight years at Notre Dame.
Bethel Women 73, Northwood (FL) 41: Number-one seed Bethel (30-3) picked up a first round victory over eighth seed Northwood University in the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship tourney at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa.
Bethel’s Natalie Young led all scorers with 21 points. Nora Didrick scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Lady Pilots.
Bethel faces Dakota State University today at 11:45 a.m.
