Grace U.M. Easter Egg Hunt: Grace United Methodist Church would like to invite you and your children and friends to our public Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 22, out on the lawn (inside if bad weather)!! Bring a basket and enjoy hunting for eggs that the Easter Bunny has left.

Grace United Methodist Church is at 3012 S. Twyckenham; Pastors David Schrader and Lauren Hall.

Car Registration: CFH Guests: If you own a motor vehicle, you need to register it with your coach or it could be towed.

“One Step At a Time” Running Group: Three days a week (times and days TBA). Will meet at CFH. Open to Center guests and anyone else who is interested in learning to run. All runners will receive the necessary running gear (i.e. running shoes, shorts, warm-ups, shirts, hats, etc.). There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the basement stairway near the men’s lounge.

Artistic Newsletter: Are you an artist, poet or writer? Place submissions for the new Artistic Newsletter in Emily Pickerill’s box. Express your talents and ideas by participating. Start submitting as soon as possible.

VA Hospital Van: To schedule a ride to the VA Hospital in Ft. Wayne, St. Joseph County veterans can call Doug Davis (USMC, retired) at (574) 243-VETS (8387) The van service also provides connecting rides to the VA hospitals in Marion and Indianapolis.

Homeless Veterans: If you are disabled and cannot work full-time (or are over 65), you may be entitled to a disability pension from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Bellevue (Neb) 73, Bethel Men 69: Ninth-seeded Bethel (29-7) gave the top seed all it could handle before falling in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division II National Championship tournament at Point Lookout, Mo.

Ryne Lightfoot led the Pilots with 22 points. William Walker scored 18 and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Hastings (Neb) 75, Bethel Women 64: The top-seeded Bethel women (31-4) concluded their best season ever short of their goal of a NAIA Division II National Championship.

Second-seeded Hastings built a 10-point lead in the first half and wouldn’t let the Lady Pilots to close the gap.

Natalie Young led Bethel with 18 points. Hannah Richards and Paula Stout contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Burton Wins Food City 500: Jeff Burton took the checkered flag in a two-lap overtime sprint Sunday at Bristol, TN.

Burton was resigned to a fourth-place finish when teammate Kevin Harvick bumped leader Tony Stewart with two laps to go. Stewart had led most of the race.

Harvick finished second and Clint Bowyer third to give Richard Childress Racing a podium sweep.

Joe Gibb Racing, whose drivers Stewart, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin had led for 372 of the 504 laps, had to settle for Hamlin’s sixth-place finish.

Sprint Cup points leader Busch’s power steering gave out, causing him to crash while leading midway through the race. He wound up 17th and barely held on to his points lead.

South Bend’s Ryan Newman had worked his way up from 43d to 10th place. He was running in the 13th spot when he got caught in a multi-car squeeze.

Newman lost three laps while his crew repaired the damage and had to settle for 33d place. He dropped from fourth to eighth in the points standings.

Dale Jarrett ended his 24-year Cup career with a 37th place finish. His 668-race record includes 32 wins, 163 top five finishes and 260 top 10s.
