Announcements

Art: Try out your creativity, Sundays, any time from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room.
Meditation: Wednesdays, 7:45 a.m., in the STAR classroom. Open to staff and guests.
Crochet and Knit Class: The Crochet and Knit Class will be taking a break for the Spring and Summer. It will resume in November, 2009.
Sheriff's Auction: Thirty confiscated automobiles and items to be auctioned in Benton Harbor Wednesday by Berrien County Sheriff's Department.
Rescued Pets: First of 35 pets rescued from puppy mill in New Albany will be ready for adoption June 20; will have big tent set at shelter on West Sixth Street in Mishawaka for adoption day.
Help Animals: Care is hosting a two-day event June 19 and 20 at Borders. Borders will contribute 10% of your purchase towards the construction of a new animals shelter for South Bend when you present the attached coupon at the time of your purchase.
On June 20 we will have several fun, family-oriented activities:
At noon and 2 p.m. we will have Story Time with "Angelo," the SBACC Shelter Cat. We will be reading Dr. Seuss's tale "The Cat in the Hat."
From 1-1:30 p.m. we will have a magic show performed performed by Kevin Wilson of Abracadabra Magic.
From 11 a.m.-4 p.m. we will have animals available for adoption from SBACC.

▪ABE Incentives: Students will be given a card to be initialed during each walk-in class attended. Once a student has attended 10 walk-in programs, cards can be redeemed for prizes.
▪Creative Writing: Starting up again this week, Thursdays, 6-7 p.m., Art Room.
▪Computer Keyboarding Classes: Beginning April 2; Thursdays, 3-4 p.m.
▪Beginning Computer Classes: Beginner computer class will be starting again soon. Please sign up in ABE. The classes will be from 3:30 - 4 pm on Wednesdays.
Math Computation with Nick will be from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays starting June 10th.
▪Book Clubs: Inspirational Reading Squad—Sundays, 6-7 p.m., in chapel.
