.Game Night/Card Tournament: Saturday (April 12), 6 p.m., in the dining room—lots of prizes, fellowship.

Hillary AMG Stop Not Open to Public: Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will visit the AM General plant in Mishawaka Saturday on her three-city campaign swing through Indiana.

No time has been announced for the stop. The Clinton party will start in Indianapolis and stop in Mishawaka before traveling to Valparaiso.

Clinton will speak to AMG employees; the event is not open to the public.

India Travel: Katherine Dick spent three weeks in India and will present on her trip Wednesday, April 23, 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the CFH Community Room. Everyone is invited.

Regis to Host Dance Marathon: The 24-hour “Dance for the Homeless” dance marathon will be April 19-20 at the IUSB Student Activities Center.

There will be live remotes by local radio stations; music by Vyagra Falls, Stillshot, New Collossus, Cornell Bass, Blammo, and Livewire; and a special appearance by Regis Philbin.

Think You’ve Got What it Takes to Be a Star: Drumming and dancing classes are coming to CFH and you’re invited to participate.

Professional drummers and dancers are coming to offer fun, music, and expertise on the following days: Thursday, March 13, 7:30-9 p.m.; Thursday, March 20, 7:30-9 p.m.; Thursday, March 27, 7:30-9 p.m.; Sunday, March 30, 2-4 p.m.; Thursday, April 10, 7:30-9 p.m.; Sunday, April 20, 2-4 p.m.; Thursday, May 1, 7:30-9 p.m.

Classes will be held in the third floor Community Room. See Juanetta for more details.

“One Step At a Time” Running Group: Three days a week (times and days TBA). Will meet at CFH. Open to Center guests and anyone else who is interested in learning to run. All runners will receive the necessary running gear (i.e. running shoes, shorts, warm-ups, shirts, hats, etc.). There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the basement stairway near the men’s lounge.

Car Registration: CFH Guests: If you own a motor vehicle, you need to register it with your coach or it could be towed.

Artistic Newsletter: Are you an artist, poet or writer? Place submissions for the Artistic Newsletter in Emily Pickerill’s box. Express your talents and ideas by participating. Start submitting as soon as possible.

Art Group: Interested in exercising your creative spirit? Want to see some of your original art work on display in the hallways?

VA Hospital Van: To schedule a ride to the VA Hospital in Ft. Wayne, St. Joseph County veterans can call Doug Davis (USMC, retired) at (574) 243-VETS (8387) The van service also provides connecting rides to the VA hospitals in Marion and Indianapolis.

Homeless Veterans: If you are disabled and cannot work full-time (or are over 65), you may be entitled to a disability pension from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

▪Writing: Wednesdays, 3-4 p.m., ABE. Improve your basic writing skills under the guidance of a trained instructor.

▪Creative Writing: Thursdays, 8-9 p.m. Develop your creative writing skills. You don’t have to sign up, just show up. Volunteers from Notre Dame will be there.

Frozen Four; Boston College 6, North Dakota State 1; ND 5, Michigan 4 (OT): Calle Ridderwall scored a goal 5:44 into overtime to give Notre Dame (27-15-4) its first trip to the NCAA hockey final.

The Irish jumped out to a 3-0 lead on the top-ranked Wolverines (33-6-4), who had won both regular season meetings between the two schools.

The Wolverines came back with two goals within a 15-second time frame in the second period.

Boston College (24-11-8) is in the final game for the third straight year. The Eagles won it all in 1949 and 2001.

Although Notre Dame has never won a NCAA hockey championship, Irish coach Jeff Jackson won two in the 1990s with Lake Superior State.

ND’s Allen Picked 43d in WNBA Draft: Notre Dame guard Charel Allen was chosen by the Sacramento Monarchs as the 43d pick in the 2008 WNBA draft

The Los Angeles Sparks had the first pick and, as expected, chose national champion Tennessee’s Candace Parker, a two-time Player of the Year.

Breakfast Crowd at South Bend Diner get Surprise: Breakfast customers at Sunrise Café got a surprise Thursday.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama stopped at the small diner on Lincolnway West in South Bend after checking out of the Marriott Hotel.

Senator Obama shared a booth with a laid off steelworker and a woman whose factory relocated to Mexico. He picked up the check.
