ABE

Starting Over:
The next Starting Over class will begin December 3 and will run six weeks because of the holidays.
All of the following activities count towards ABE hours.
▪Computer Classes: There will be two Basic Word classes on Fridays starting December 7: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. Sign up in ABE.
▪ Academic Fun Fair: Starting December 3 in ABE.
There will be puzzles, games, interesting projects and exhibits. A new exhibit will be added every day for the first week of December.
Volunteers are needed to set up and work exhibits. See Andrea in ABE.
▪ Poetry Jam: Every Tuesday, 7-8 p.m., Starting Over Room.
Read a favorite poem.
Share your own work.
Just listen, relax and enjoy.
▪Creative Writing: Thursdays, 7-8 p.m., Starting Over Room.
▪Dead Poets Society: Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m., ABE Room. All are welcome.
We will discuss short stories and poems.
▪Science Club: Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., Starting Over Room.
Discuss science-related issues in the news and interesting experiments about Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and more.

Soccer

(11) ND Women 3, (4) North Carolina 2:
Sophomore forward Michele Weissenhofer scored two goals and assisted on another and senior goalkeeper Lauren Karas made five saves for the Irish in NCAA Tournament action. It was ND’s 16th straight win.
The Irish host unranked Duke Friday night at 7 p.m. in a quarterfinal game. The Blue Devils defeated Indiana University yesterday, 2-0.
