Clausen to Start: Notre Dame Football Coach Charlie Weis has announced that freshman quarterback Jimmy Clausen will start against Air Force Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.
Weis also said Clausen will quarterback the final three games of the season.
Clausen, who had been sidelined with an injury, has been throwing the ball with more zip in practice, according to Weis.

ND Begins Regular Season: The Irish begin the regular season November 12, hosting Long Island.
ND Women: The Notre Dame women begin the regular season with a Women’s NIT game. The Lady Irish host Miami, Oh., tonight at 9 p.m.
