Sign Up for CFH Holiday Miracle Luncheon:
Sign up now at the front desk for the CFH Holiday Miracle Luncheon, December 6, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Century Center
The guest speaker will be Christopher Gardner, Jr., whose homeless experience was portrayed in the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” with Will Smith.
Buses will start leaving CFH at 11 a.m. Contact Whitney Nickle with any questions or concerns. Sign up by December 3.

ABE

Starting Over:
The next Starting Over class will begin December 3 and will run six weeks because of the holidays.
All of the following activities count towards ABE hours.
▪Computer Classes: There will be two Basic Word classes on Fridays starting December 7: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. Sign up in ABE.
▪ Academic Fun Fair: Starting December 3 in ABE.
There will be puzzles, games, interesting projects and exhibits. A new exhibit will be added every day for the first week of December.
Volunteers are needed to set up and work exhibits. See Andrea in ABE.
▪ Poetry Jam: Every Tuesday, 7-8 p.m., Starting Over Room.
Read a favorite poem.
Share your own work.
Just listen, relax and enjoy.
▪Creative Writing: Thursdays, 7-8 p.m., Starting Over Room.
▪Dead Poets Society: Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m., ABE Room. All are welcome.
We will discuss short stories and poems.
▪Science Club: Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., Starting Over Room.
Discuss science-related issues in the news and interesting experiments about Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and more.

Washington Safety Dies: Washington Redskins Pro Bowl safety Sean Taylor died early this morning a day after being shot at his Miami home by an intruder.
Taylor, a University of Miami (Fla.) graduate and the fifth overall pick in the 2004 draft, was shot in the upper leg, damaging the femoral artery and causing significant blood loss.

ND Men 94, Colgate 63:
Kyle McAlarney scored a career-high 25 points, including seven three-pointers.
The Irish (4-2) can tie the school record for consecutive wins (24) at the Joyce Center by beating Eastern Michigan Saturday.
